Danny Pizzigoni
Danny’s forays into watch collecting began when he was a boy, when, with his dad, they scoured antique markets across England, mostly before dawn. Those were the days when enamel-dial Patek wristwatches could be bought for a song, and collectors still battled over English pocket watches. Danny built up a fine collection of rare Rolex sports watches in mint condition, an acheivement almost impossible for a schoolboy today.
Danny’s association with fastidious Japanese and Italian collectors honed his tastes to razor keeness; he immediately shuns watches with restored dials, for example, condemning them as pure commercialism, something no collector would entertain in his collection.
In 1996, Danny set up shop with his new business partner, Frank Lord. Danny’s tireless care and tending has resulted in the company becoming the focal point for collectors and purists everywhere. Many of his relationships with customers have evolved into true friendships-the ultimate sign of trust.
